{"id":59099,"date":"2025-11-21T09:09:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T09:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/59099\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T09:09:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T09:09:38","slug":"fundraising-underway-for-annual-plano-rockin-christmas-wspynews","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/59099\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundraising underway for annual Plano Rockin\u2019 Christmas | Wspynews"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fundraising efforts are happening throughout the month for the annual Plano Rockin&#8217; Christmas where the community distributes gift cards and donations to area families in need for the holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>The Chocolate Shoppe in Plano will be donating a portion of its sales to Plano Rockin&#8217; Christmas Wednesday to kick off the fundraising drive.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, November 25, city, police, and fire officials and some high school athletes will be running food at Culver&#8217;s in Plano and taking donations from 5 to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Trendy Finds will be raffling off a vintage Santa, with proceeds supporting the Rockin&#8217; Christmas mission. Additionally, donation boxes have been placed at area businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The Plano Rockin&#8217; Christmas event is on Friday December 5th beginning at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Plano.
