DALLAS – All charges against a man accused of stealing two monkeys<\/a>\u00a0from the\u00a0Dallas\u00a0Zoo have been dismissed.<\/p>\n Dallas Zoo Monkey Theft <\/p>\n What’s new:<\/p>\n According to court documents filed in June, the Dallas County District Attorney\u2019s Office motioned to dismiss two felony burglary of a building charges against Davion Irvin.<\/p>\n The motion states Irvin is “mentally ill and was found incompetent to stand trial.”<\/p>\n Since then, he\u2019s spent more time in jail or at a state hospital receiving mental health services than the maximum time allowed for punishment in the case.<\/p>\n The two charges were the final two that Irvin faced.
