1.\u00a0‘Do you want to be next?’: Lawmaker calls on university leaders to follow Texas A&M’s lead on academic policy change<\/a><\/p>\n

At least one lawmaker is calling on other university\u00a0leaders\u00a0to implement similar academic policy changes as the Texas A&M Board of Regents or risk losing jobs.<\/p>\n

The Texas A&M University System changed its\u00a0academic policy\u00a0to stop professors from advocating for certain race or gender ideology in their courses unless \u201capproved in advance.\u201d<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0More than 7,000 truck drivers sidelined for English proficiency violations. Texas truckers are pushing back<\/a><\/p>\n

More than 7,000 commercial truck drivers across the country have been taken off the road this year after failing to meet federal English proficiency requirements, according to U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.<\/p>\n

A federal judge in San Antonio has blocked the Ten Commandments from being displayed in classrooms in 14 school districts across the state.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Texas rancher reacts to USDA plan to strengthen cattle industry<\/a><\/p>\n

Across the country, the ranching industry has struggled to adapt to lingering drought and inflation, resulting in the lowest cattle supply since 1961 and causing beef prices to soar.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the reason behind the\u00a0U.S. Department of Agriculture\u2019s (USDA) announcement of a plan\u00a0to revitalize the industry and hopefully lower prices for consumers.<\/p>\n
