Livingston \u2014 A man authorities called “armed and dangerous” is now jailed after a shooting because he got enraged over a horse.<\/p>\n
Lee David Strole ran into an wooded area as part of a shooting investigation Wednesday morning in Leggett, northeast of Livingston off U.S. Highway 59.<\/p>\n
Later, the 39-year-old Strole was arrested, seen in a picture shirtless, dirty and with a thicker beard in the initial photo authorities released.<\/p>\n
Polk County Sheriff Byron Lyons said Strole shot a woman after an argument about her horse that stayed on Strole’s property.<\/p>\n
She was airlifted to a hospital. Her condition was unknown as of last check.<\/p>\n
According to jail records, Strole is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest with a vehicle.<\/p>\n
Bond has not been set as of Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
