An 18-year-old man has been arrested days after a man riding a bicycle was killed in a fatal hit-and-run in Galveston.<\/p>\n

Aiden Perry Prause, 18, was charged with collision involving death.<\/p>\n

The incident happened on Nov. 16. Fidel Estrada, 77, was riding his bicycle to work when he was hit by a pickup truck.<\/p>\n

People who witnessed the crash told authorities with Galveston Police Department that the truck didn\u2019t stop to render aid and drove away after the collision.<\/p>\n

Estrada was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, KPRC 2\u2019s Bill Barajas<\/a> spoke with Estrada\u2019s family, who was heartbroken by the loss of their loved one and demanding justice.<\/p>\n

This is seemingly not Prause\u2019s first run-in with law enforcement. Earlier this year, Prause and another man were arrested after allegedly breaking into a water purification plant in Cypress and causing thousands of dollars in damages.<\/p>\n

Prause was given a bond of $100,000 for the charge associated with the hit-and-run. He bonded out at 4 p.m. Friday, Galveston County Jail confirmed to KPRC 2.<\/p>\n
