Dallas Cowboys<\/a> wide receiver George Pickens has drawn the biggest fine in the NFL this week after his apparently overzealous touchdown celebration in Monday\u2019s win against the Raiders.<\/p>\n

After Pickens\u2019 score during his 9-catch, 144-yard performance vs. the Raiders<\/a> he leapt up and grabbed onto the stantion of the goal post, which the NFL deemed to be \u201cuse of [a] prop\u201d in a celebration, according to the league\u2019s gameday accountability page.<\/p>\n

Pickens will be fined $26,085 for the act, the largest sum of any of the 23 players fined in Week 11\u2019s slate of games.<\/p>\n

Pickens\u2019 sprawled-out celebration was seemingly inspired by the Lions\u2019 Jameson Williams, who did nearly the exact same celebration in the Sunday Night Football game the night before Cowboys-Raiders.<\/p>\n

Williams was only fined $14,491, the difference likely due to Pickens\u2019 status as a repeat offender. Pickens was fined earlier in November as well for taunting Cardinals cornerback Denzel Burke<\/a> in Dallas\u2019 game against Arizona.<\/p>\n

Pickens was also flagged for the celebration, punished on the field and off. And that\u2019s after he was benched for the first series of the game after missing the team bus to the stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Regardless, these Pickens-related shenanigans seem to have affected neither his on-field performance nor his relationship with his coach and teammates. He\u2019s second in the NFL in receiving yards, and he\u2019s got Brian Schottenheimer publicly campaigning for a long-term agreement between Pickens and the Cowboys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSign me up,\u201d Schottenheimer said Tuesday when asked about the pending free agent Pickens\u2019 future in Dallas. \u201cI\u2019m very in favor of George having a long-term future with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
