No. 3 Texas Volleyball starts the 2025 postseason tonight against Ole Miss<\/a>. UT (21-2, 13-2 in SEC)\u00a0automatically advanced to the quarterfinals in the SEC Tournament. The tournament is being held in Savannah, Ga. is a must win for the Rebels if they have any hope at the NCAA tourney.<\/p>\n

The Longhorns<\/a> and Rebels have faced each other four times in history. Texas leads the series, 4-0. Longhorns head coach Jerritt Elliott has an overall record of 630-123. Elliott is 80-20 in the post season.<\/p>\n

Texas Volleyball has beaten nine ranked teams. They have faded slightly down the stretch, but are still in the top five nationally.<\/p>\n

SET II: Ole Miss 11, Texas 25Horns bounce back, win set<\/p>\n

After the timeout, Texas scored two straight points to take the set. UT is one set from moving onto the SEC semifinals.<\/p>\n

Rebels making a little run<\/p>\n

Texas has taken a time out after Ole Miss has found some rhythm, scoring three points in a row. Texas leads Set Two 23-16.<\/p>\n

Texas’ side out percentage is 85%. It’s complete dominance so far. The Horns are up 9 in the second set.<\/p>\n
