{"id":63239,"date":"2025-11-24T19:42:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T19:42:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/63239\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T19:42:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T19:42:09","slug":"texas-am-agrilife-extension-service-launches-capital-campaign-for-texas-4-h","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/63239\/","title":{"rendered":"Texas A&#038;M AgriLife Extension Service launches capital campaign for Texas 4-H"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/agrilifeextension.tamu.edu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas A&amp;M AgriLife Extension Service<\/a>\u00a0has announced the launch of a capital campaign in partnership with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.txamfoundation.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas A&amp;M Foundation<\/a>\u00a0to support the new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/texas4-h.tamu.edu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas 4-H Youth Development<\/a>\u00a0headquarters at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rellis.tamus.edu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas A&amp;M-RELLIS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Support Texas 4-H<\/p>\n<p>This headquarters marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for Texas 4-H. Join us to support youth development in Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign will fund the design, development and maintenance of the new facility and provide opportunities for donors to invest in the future of youth leadership and development in Texas. The headquarters will open its doors in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTexas 4-H is woven into the fabric of Texas A&amp;M, having been part of The Texas A&amp;M University System for more than 118 years,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/agrilife.tamu.edu\/about\/leadership\/vcdean\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jeffrey W. Savell, Ph.D.<\/a>,\u00a0vice chancellor and dean for Agriculture and Life Sciences. \u201cWe want to build a space where youth, volunteers and educators can come together to continue making the best better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Impact across Texas<\/p>\n<p>Building on that vision, AgriLife Extension \u2013 the agency within\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tamus.edu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Texas A&amp;M University System<\/a>\u00a0that administers the Texas 4-H program \u2013 will lead efforts to ensure the new facility serves as a resource for youth, families and communities across the state. (Sam Craft, Michael Miller\/Texas A&amp;M AgriLife, Abbey Santoro\/Texas A&amp;M University Division of Marketing &amp; Communications)<\/p>\n<p>The capital campaign brings together those who want to join in the mission of making the best better, helping to shape a new chapter of youth development in Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf someone chooses to support Texas 4-H, it would be an investment in not only our state, but in our nation and in our world,\u201d said\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/agrilifetoday.tamu.edu\/2025\/10\/09\/beyond-ready-callan-nix-on-the-power-of-texas-4-h\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Callan Nix, Texas 4-H Council president<\/a>. \u201cIn our motto, we talk about making a difference in our club, our community, our country and our world.
