Southwest Plano residential street repairs<\/a><\/p>\n Project: Plano is working to repair neighborhood infrastructure, including residential concrete streets, alleys, sidewalks and ramps.<\/p>\n Update: Plano City Council approved a $3.31 million contract at an Oct. 27 meeting for repairs in the area bounded by Decator Drive, Park Boulevard, Tulane Drive and Preston Ridge Trail.<\/p>\n Timeline: TBDCost: $3.31 millionFunding source: city of PlanoRigsbee Drive, Peppertree Place, Laurel Lane and Trailridge Drive improvements<\/a><\/p>\n Project: The project will replace waterlines, reconstruct street pavement and install ramps along Rigsbee, as well as Peppertree Place, Laurel Lane and Trailridge Drive.<\/p>\n Update: Plano City Council approved a $7.25 million contract for paving and water improvements for the four streets.<\/p>\n Timeline: December 2025-January 2027Cost: $7.25 millionFunding source: city of PlanoOngoing projects<\/p>\n Custer Road<\/a><\/p>\n Project: The North Texas Municipal Water District is currently working to replace an aging pipeline along Custer Road.<\/p>\n Update: More than a third of the 9,100-foot pipeline has been installed, according to a city news release<\/a>. Work will close Pitman Drive from 15th Street to Shadow Trail until Jan. 5, and cause lane closures on northbound Custer Road between Grandview Drive and Westridge Drive from Dec. 8-12.<\/p>\n Timeline: February 2025-October 2026Cost: $18 millionFunding source: North Texas Municipal Water District15th Street paving and waterline reconstruction<\/a><\/p>\n Project: The project involves the removal and replacement of pavement, sidewalks and water lines along 15th Street from Municipal Avenue to Jupiter Road.<\/p>\n Update: 15th Street\u2019s eastbound lane from P Avenue to R Avenue will see lane closures through mid-December. Traffic will be detoured down P Avenue to 14th Street.<\/p>\n Timeline: August 2025-March 2027Cost: $6.94 millionFunding source: city of PlanoPark Boulevard water rehabilitation project<\/a><\/p>\n Project: The two-phase project, stretching from Preston Road to Plano\u2019s east city limits combined, is working to replace the waterlines running under Park Boulevard.<\/p>\n Update: The first phase from Preston Road to US 75 is expected to wrap up in December.<\/p>\n
