But nearby residents and business owners say they were not informed about the plan and are raising concerns about transparency, public safety, and the potential impact on property values.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cThe last thing we need is these problematic homeless folks wandering around the stadiums during the World Cup,\u201d said Wayne Dolcefino, president of Dolcefino Media, who has been working with residents opposing the project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Some residents living in the Second Ward believe the project is too expensive and won\u2019t provide the help homeless people need.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cFor the amount of money that they\u2019re paying for this property and what we\u2019re getting for it for this one building, 100 beds.
