Texas Tech women\u2019s basketball will face Old Dominion University on Tuesday at the Comerica Center in Frisco for its first game of the Hoopfest Women’s Basketball Challenge.<\/p>\n
The four-day series will feature nine teams, and each will play two games. Auburn University and the University of Texas at San Antonio opened up the series at 11 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n
Tech is coming off its first road win of the season after defeating the University of New Mexico 82-57 on Sunday. The win was Tech\u2019s fourth double-digit win of the season, according to Tech Athletics.<\/p>\n
Old Dominion is 5-1, with its sole loss coming from its first game on Nov. 3 against the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, 58-52.<\/p>\n
The Monarchs have won four of their six games by seven points or fewer. The two outliers are their sole loss and 106-32 win against Elizabeth City State University, according to ODU Athletics.<\/p>\n
