Severe Storms Batter NW Harris County Monday: <\/p>\n

Tornado Aftermath: The NWS has now confirmed two tornadoes ripped through Riata Ranch and the Klein\/Spring areas yesterday\u2014destroying homes and cars as fallen power lines sparked house fires.<\/p>\n

– An EF1 tornado ripped through Riata Ranch\/Northwest Harris County west of 249 with peak winds of 105 mph <\/p>\n

– A stronger EF2 tornado slammed the Klein\/Spring area along the Grand Parkway with winds up to 115 mph <\/p>\n

Both carved miles of destruction Monday afternoon. Thankfully, no injuries or fatalities were reported.<\/p>\n

Tuesday\u2019s Forecast: <\/p>\n

Tuesday, we\u2019ll watch and track a much different day compared to Monday. We\u2019re waking up in the 60s with a more seasonable high in the 70s and our front will drop our high on Wednesday to the lower 70s.<\/p>\n
