EL PASO, Texas (KTSM<\/a>) \u2014 The Market at WinterFest is getting national recognition as it was named the #1 best Christmas market in the United States for 2026 by Newsweek, and is also running for another national honor, the City of El Paso announced in a news release.<\/p>\n

USA Today\u2019s 10Best is currently voting for the top 10 holiday markets in the U.S., and the community is encouraged to participate by voting online here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing named America\u2019s best Christmas market is a meaningful recognition for our community,\u201d said City of El Paso Quality of Life Managing Director Ben Fyffe. \u201cThis award reflects the hard work of City Departments and partners, and we are grateful to the artists and artisans who bring their creativity and talent to The Market each week. We are proud to showcase the magic of the holidays here in El Paso, and being voted #1 by Newsweek readers makes this achievement even more meaningful.\u201d<\/p>\n

The City is also inviting the community to shop local and visit the market on Small Business Saturday, from 5 to 10 p.m., on Nov. 29, on Main Street\u00a0between La Nube and the El Paso Museum of Art. This national holiday encourages residents across the country to support local artisans, makers, and entrepreneurs during the holiday shopping season.<\/p>\n
