Post Malone<\/a> ended his halftime show at the thanksgiving<\/a> game between Dallas Cowboys<\/a> and Kansas<\/a> City Chiefs with an emotional tribute to the late Marshawn Kneeland.<\/p>\n

‘We love you, 94. We love you,’ the singer, a Cowboys fan, called out to the crowd at AT&T Stadium, referencing Kneeland’s jersey number.<\/p>\n

Malone also had a large 94 pin on his jacket to honor Kneeland, who took his own life earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Kneeland, 24, shot himself in the head in a porta-potty in Plano, Texas,<\/a> after evading police in an astonishing pursuit sparked when he failed to pull over for a traffic violation in neighboring Frisco on November 6.<\/p>\n

The defensive end crashed his black Dodge Charger and fled on foot in the late-night chase, but his body wasn\u2019t discovered until hours later after a massive and at times chaotic search.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys star had earlier sent his family a group text saying ‘goodbye’ during the drama involving the Texas Department of Public Safety troopers, according to a police audio dispatch.<\/p>\n

Kneeland’s girlfriend Catalina Mancera, who is pregnant with his child, also warned the police that the NFL player had a gun and that she feared he would kill himself.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the day before Malone’s hugely anticipated show, horrifying police camera footage emerged of the moment Kneeland’s body was discovered.<\/p>\n

In the bodycam video obtained by the Daily Mail, one of the hardened officers can be heard exclaiming: \u2018It is lurid.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Texas Department of Safety video footage shows four local police next to the structure situated in a parking lot beside a high-rise building as state troopers approach them.<\/p>\n

A mass of blood lies in a wide stream on the ground leading from porta-potty, where the back of Kneeland\u2019s slumped body can be seen. He is wearing what appears to be a black sweatshirt with the word \u2018elevate\u2019 in white lettering.<\/p>\n

Another officer is seen flying a drone just off the ground to film for further evidence in the tragedy involving the rising star who had scored his first NFL touchdown only 48 hours earlier.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Malone, real name Austin Post, grew up a Cowboys fan after his dad got a job on concessions with the organization while the singer was a child.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His tribute to Kneeland won him a lot admiration on social media, with many television viewers taking to social media to commend him.<\/p>\n

Another fan shared a picture of Malone’s ’94’ pin, saying: ‘Post Malone with a No. 94 button in honor of Marshawn Kneeland. The man is a class act.’<\/p>\n

It came after fans were left in awe by Jack White’s performance<\/a> in the halftime show between Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers earlier on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
