SAN ANTONIO – New Braunfels tallied three receiving touchdowns in the second quarter to three different receivers from Unicorns QB Levi Golla and are leading at halftime, 28-10 over the Chargers in Friday’s third-round playoff game at Alamo Stadium.<\/p>\n
Champion was up 10-7 at the end of the first quarter but NB went to the air in the second period to outscored the Chargers 21-0.<\/p>\n

SAN ANTONIO – Boerne High defeated Gregory-Portland, 38-7, Friday in the third round of the playoffs at Comalander.<\/p>\n
The Greyhounds will face Alamo Heights this coming week in the regional championship game.<\/p>\n
BHS dominated the Wildcats and held them without a first down in the first quarter and only two first downs in the first half.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Gregory-Portland had scored 70 points in its last three games and at least 60 in its last five. Their only points Friday came late in the game on a punt return with seven seconds left.<\/p>\n
The Greyhounds left a lot of points on the turf and had two touchdowns called back and also turned it over three times, all in the first half.<\/p>\n
Boerne coach Brett Sawyer said he was proud of his team for keeping the Wildcats offense in check and added that there were a few things to clean up offensively, but was happy for the win and to be playing in the fourth round.<\/p>\n
Geneva School of Boerne<\/p>\n
Lubbock Christian defeated Geneva School of Boerne in the TAPPS state semifinals 71-13, Friday in Abilene.<\/p>\n
