{"id":69445,"date":"2025-11-29T08:41:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-29T08:41:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/69445\/"},"modified":"2025-11-29T08:41:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-29T08:41:11","slug":"nba-announces-additions-to-mavericks-schedule-after-dallas-elimination-from-nba-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/69445\/","title":{"rendered":"NBA announces additions to Mavericks\u2019 schedule after Dallas\u2019 elimination from NBA Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/\">Mavericks<\/a> were officially eliminated from the NBA Cup in-season tournament Friday night when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2025\/11\/28\/dallas-mavericks-los-angeles-lakers-luka-doncic-anthony-davis-return-cooper-flagg-austin-reaves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2025\/11\/28\/dallas-mavericks-los-angeles-lakers-luka-doncic-anthony-davis-return-cooper-flagg-austin-reaves\/\">they fell to Luka Doncic and the Lakers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2025\/08\/14\/full-dallas-mavericks-2025-26-nba-regular-season-schedule-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2025\/08\/14\/full-dallas-mavericks-2025-26-nba-regular-season-schedule-released\/\">The way the NBA accounts for the in-season tournament in its schedule<\/a> is the league marks Dec. 9, 10, 13 and 16 as days for NBA Cup Knockout Rounds and Dec. 11, 12, 14 and 15 as days for regular season games between teams that didn\u2019t advance to the knockout rounds of the in-season tournament.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">With Dallas no longer able to advance out of its group after the loss to Los Angeles, the NBA announced two additions to the Mavs\u2019 schedule. The Mavericks are set for a pair of regular season matchups against the Nets and Jazz, a pair of teams that also have been eliminated from the NBA Cup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Dallas will host Brooklyn on Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. and then the Mavericks will visit Utah on Dec. 15 at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Mavericks<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmnc_features-cta-social-article-cta-social-module__3beff secondaryRoman secondaryRoman-20 text-center text-gray-dark\">Be the smartest Mavericks fan.
