They attend different middle schools, work with different managers and auditioned separately, so neither knew the other was up for a role.<\/p>\n
\u201cI mean that is pretty amazing,\u201d said Jamie Malone, owner of MC Talent Management. \u201cSometimes lightning strikes. You just never know.\u201d<\/p>\n
Malone is based in Los Angeles, but Aeiress isn\u2019t her only Texas client. Malone said the rise of self-tape auditions during the pandemic opened doors for talent living outside major film hubs.<\/p>\n
\u201cTexas just has really good kids,\u201d she said. \u201cThey have really good kid and adult talent, so we\u2019re going to go wherever the talent is.\u201d<\/p>\n
Aeiress has been acting so long she can\u2019t remember if she booked her first gig at the age of 3 or 4, but she\u2019s pretty sure it was a TruMoo milk commercial.<\/p>\n
Her credits include roles at Casa Ma\u00f1ana and in two episodes of\u00a0Rap Sh!t, a TV series produced by Issa Rae.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0Abbott, she\u2019ll play a character named CC in an episode airing Dec. 3.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe first day I walked out [on set], it was like the best experience ever,\u201d Aeiress said. \u201cAnd I remember just being so excited and mind blown and so ready to do it the next day.\u201d<\/p>\n
She met Raymond through the Fine Arts Academy at Alma Martinez Intermediate School, and described him as a great person.<\/p>\n
Raymond first realized he might want to act while watching movies with his family.<\/p>\n
He joined his elementary school\u2019s drama club, and after performing in\u00a0The Big Bad Wolf\u00a0and\u00a0The Wizard of Oz,\u00a0he was hooked.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was really theater that kind of sparked me, like actually starting to love it a lot,\u201d Raymond said.<\/p>\n
From there he shot a local ad for Academy Sports + Outdoors. He also worked on a film from BACKA Media Group called\u00a0Baby Mama Nada, according to his IMDB profile.<\/p>\n

On Dec. 17, viewers will see Raymond play Kawhi, a sleepy student wandering the school, unsure of where he\u2019s supposed to be.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe set was really cool. It\u2019s cool to see behind the scenes because I never really know how much effort people put into it and how quick they turn around things,\u201d Raymond said.<\/p>\n
Raymond is a big fan of the show, and was surprised when they led him to his own trailer on set.<\/p>\n
\u201cI still kind of think it\u2019s a dream, but I think the most exciting part was just seeing the people that I always watch all the time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Raymond was happy when he found out that Aeiress had also booked a role.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was just excited. I was like, \u2018We\u2019re doin\u2019 it! We\u2019re doin\u2019 it!\u2019 I\u2019m proud of where I\u2019m from,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Raymond wants to help put his hometown on the map for people outside of Texas. As he and Aeiress continue to audition and act, they just might.<\/p>\n
