Have you seen these people? A Silver Alert <\/a>was issued for an elderly couple from Lubbock\u00a0after they failed to return home from\u00a0a road trip. They were last seen on Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

Missing Lubbock Couple At Risk<\/p>\n

According to the Silver Alert issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety<\/a>, Charles Lightfoot, 82, and Linda Lightfoot, 81 were last seen at the 2300 block of 59th Street in Lubbock<\/a> on November 27 around 3 PM.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Their vehicle, however, a 2024 silver Toyota Camry<\/a>, was last spotted in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, on November 28.<\/p>\n

According to Everything Lubbock<\/a>, neither Charles nor Linda carry a cellphone or any device that can be traced. Also, as Charles depends on an oxygen tank for breathing, their disappearance is considered a threat to their health and safety.<\/p>\n

If you have any information on their whereabouts or the last location of their vehicle, authorities urge citizens to contact the Carson County Sheriff’s Office<\/a> at (806) 537-3511.<\/p>\n

You can also make a call to 911 to report the Lightfoot’s location.<\/p>\n

First created in 2007, Texas’ Silver Alert program is designed to alert the public of any missing elderly adults who may be facing health or safety risks.<\/p>\n

In order for a missing person to be eligible for a Silver Alert, they must fall within at least one of the following criteria<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Over 65 years old or diagnosed with Alzheimer’s DiseaseHas a diagnosed impaired mental conditionAlternative reasons for their disappearance have been ruled outSilver Alert request is within 72 hours of disappearanceSufficient evidence that the public could assist in locating missing persons<\/p>\n
