Classic Christmas has arrived in North Dallas, transforming the former Valley View Mall site into 90,000 square feet of lights, music, photo ops and winter-themed fun.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pop-up experience<\/a>, sponsored by Coca-Cola and located at 13351 Preston Rd., Dallas, the former location of Valley View Mall off LBJ in Far North Dallas, is open now through December 28. It\u2019s one of the season\u2019s biggest immersive holiday installations.<\/p>\n

What Is It<\/p>\n

Classic Christmas blends illuminated fantasy with nostalgic charm: glowing tunnels, light displays, strolling carolers and chances to meet Mrs. Claus and Santa. Plenty of spots for photos! Plus, lots and lots of Coca-Cola marketing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Besides wandering through 90,000 square feet of glowing sculptures and lights, soaking up endless photo ops, here are the main attractions:<\/p>\n


\n\tIce Skating: Glide across real outdoor ice.
\n\tSlip N Slide Summit: Grab a tube and race down icy slopes. (Riders must be at least 42 inches.)
\n\tCinemark Christmas Classics: Watch holiday favorites like Elf, The Grinch and The Polar Express on an outdoor big screen.
\n\tHome Depot\u2019s Craft Corner: Create your own keepsake to take home from your magical night.
\n\tVisit Santa and Mrs. Claus: You can take your picture with Santa or enjoy storytime with Mrs. Claus.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Who Is This Best For<\/p>\n

You can glide through in 30 minutes or stretch it into a full evening with food, skating and the slide. As mentioned above, some activities have height requirements, and you will have to sign a release before participating in the sledding and skating, but you can also enjoy festive activities like carollers and soaking up the Coca-Cola-powered Christmas vibes<\/p>\n

What About Food<\/p>\n

Coca-Cola products and adult beverages are available for purchase, and kettle corn is sold at the Cinemark activation. Near the skating ring, there are food stalls, where you can order things like pickle pizza, tacos, corn dogs, fried Oreos and the like. Expect fair food prices: loaded nachos are $18, fried Oreos are $10 and bottled water is $5.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re bringing kids, hosting out-of-towners or just want a Christmas-card photo that doesn\u2019t look like anyone else\u2019s, this is the kind of holiday escape that pulls you in \u2014 and slows you down \u2014 even with the Galleria traffic just blocks away.<\/p>\n

We loved the “Slip ‘N Slide Summit” snow slide and the outdoor ice skating! And Classic Christmas totally got us in the holiday spirit!<\/p>\n
