\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFollowing the Nov. 4 election<\/a>, Rollingwood City Council welcomed two returning council members and one new council member at its Nov. 17 meeting.<\/p>\n

The details<\/p>\n

Returning council members Brook Brown and Phil McDuffee were joined by newcomer Kevin Schell, taking the place of outgoing council member Alec Robinson. Schell previously served on the city\u2019s Board of Adjustment.<\/p>\n

All three of the sworn-in candidates ran unopposed.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations, Kevin,\u201d Mayor Gavin Massingill said at the meeting. \u201cWelcome to the party.\u201d<\/p>\n

A resolution was also passed honoring Robinson at the meeting, who was elected to council in 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been an amazing honor to be able to serve the community the past four years,\u201d Robinson said.<\/p>\n

Additionally, council member Sara Hutson was re-elected to serve as mayor pro tem at the meeting.<\/p>\n

What else?<\/p>\n

Council also approved moving forward on road improvements<\/a> to three Rollingwood streets with Bennett Paving<\/a> for $332,904<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The city\u2019s 2025 Mill and Overlay Project<\/a> includes milling and road overlay for five projects:<\/p>\n

Three sections of Hatley DriveWallis DriveEdgegrove DriveFunds for the project were outlined in the city\u2019s fiscal year 2025-26 budget. The city allotted 21 days for the project to be complete.<\/p>\n
