AUSTIN, Texas \u2014 Women today balance caregiving, careers, finances, and societal pressures, often at a heavy mental cost. The Junior League\u2019s<\/a> new initiative, “Every Woman, All Things,” aims to ease that burden through awareness, advocacy, and cultural change.<\/p>\n

This morning, Sierra Waggoner sat down with Alice Glen, President of the Association of Junior League International,<\/a> to discuss how the organization is supporting women everywhere.<\/p>\n

Glen explained that women juggle many obligations\u2014from work and family to aging parents\u2014and it was time for a real solution. She emphasized that “Every Woman, All Things” focuses on creating a long-term roadmap for systemic change, setting it apart from other mental health or empowerment campaigns.<\/p>\n

She shared how mental overload manifests in the lives of women served by the League: constant worry, stress over time and finances, and the mental toll that often goes unrecognized.<\/p>\n

With nearly 125 years of civic leadership and a global reach, the Junior League brings a unique, impactful voice to the conversation. Glen highlighted the Junior League of Austin\u2019s important community projects and how they offer meaningful involvement without overwhelming members.<\/p>\n

For those watching, Glen encouraged starting small and reminded everyone that no one has to face these challenges alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery journey toward change can begin with a simple conversation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
