While No. 13 Texas<\/a> football\u2019s win against Texas A&M last Friday may not end up being enough to get them into the College Football Playoff<\/a>, it certainly helped convince some 2026 recruits. <\/p>\n

The Longhorns recently jumped up to the No. 7 overall 2026 recruiting class after several players committed to the school over Thanksgiving break, with two occurring within a week of their rivalry win.<\/p>\n
