James Beard award-nominated chef Jason Dady is opening a new restaurant at Pearl.<\/p>\n

Umai Mi will open at Pearl\u2019s Bottling Department Food Hall on Dec. 10. <\/p>\n

\u201cUmai Mi is Chef Jason Dady\u2019s playful take on modern Asian fare \u2014 bold flavors, bright textures & craveable bowls built for everyday eating,\u201d read a description on Dady\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dishes on the menu will be drawn from various locations across Asia, according to the website, and the menu will include sweet drinks like boba teas. A photo on Dady\u2019s website shows a b\u00e1nh m\u00ec, a Vietnamese sandwich.<\/p>\n

Dady has established restaurants<\/a> across San Antonio, most recently Roca & Martillo and Ice Ice Dady at the Rock at La Cantera. He previously tried the Umai Mi concept at another location at the Alley on Bitters on San Antonio\u2019s Northside.<\/p>\n

Dady\u2019s other restaurants have included Italian and barbecue options. He was featured on The Food Network\u2019s \u201cBBQ Brawl\u201d<\/a> television show.<\/p>\n
