A serious crash involving multiple vehicles unfolded in Southeast Houston after a man reportedly fired shots and stole somebody\u2019s car. Officials tell KPRC 2 that there is a possible fatality.<\/p>\n
The incident was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. Friday morning. The crash happened at 8101 Park Place Boulevard, near the Gulf Freeway.<\/p>\n

8:29 am. Officers called about major accident involving four vehicles.<\/p>\n
Suspect drove white SUV. He exited after causing accident.<\/p>\n
He fired rounds in the air. He then carjacked a black SUV and fled the scene on to I-45 North. He drove several blocks north to Woodridge, where he carjacked ANOTHER BLACK SUV at gunpoint. Not sure if that car was disabled or how he did this.<\/p>\n
Officers were actively looking the newly jacked black SUV. Deputies with Pct. 1 were able to locate him. He was attemptuing to carjack another white Dodge Ram truck that was stranded on Highway 59 Northbound next to George R Brown convention center.<\/p>\n
Deputies apprehended suspect and arrested him without further chaos.<\/p>\n
1 victim deceased, Black female.<\/p>\n
KPRC 2 is at the scene of the crash. There were four or more cars involved in the wreckage.<\/p>\n
After the crash happened, one of the drivers involved reportedly got out of his car, pulled out a gun and began firing shots. He then carjacked a nearby car and fled the scene.<\/p>\n
The suspect was then apprehended by police. Authorities confirmed he is now in custody.<\/p>\n
Officials tell KPRC 2 that there has been a possible fatality associated with either the wreck or the subsequent shooting. We are working to gather more details.<\/p>\n
