Is Elsewhere Too a victim of its own success?<\/p>\n

First, the far North Side beer garden and restaurant was forced to temporarily close<\/a> for the two days following its highly anticipated grand opening so it could restock on food and drinks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now, the owners of the business \u2014 which features a 52-foot Ferris Wheel, a Victorian-style greenhouse and a flower tunnel on its Loop 1604 grounds \u2014\u00a0 said they\u2019re combating another problem: bad parenting.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a Tuesday Instagram post, Elsewhere Too pleaded to parents to keep their kids from tearing up the place. Since the spot\u2019s early-October debut, children have ripped apart its lights, thrown rocks, destroyed plants and even tossed items from the Ferris wheel, the post said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cParents are fully responsible for supervising their children at all times,\u201d Elsewhere Too wrote. \u201cIf a child is seen damaging or disrupting the experience for others, your group will be asked to leave.\u201d<\/p>\n

As of press time, children are allowed at Elsehwere Too until 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve poured pur (sic) heart and soul into creating something truly magical for this community,\u201d Elsewhere Too wrote. \u201cPlease respect it, protect it, and help us keep the magic alive for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
