Calallen might have lost, but man, Sam Cecava<\/a> was a machine: he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Cecava is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he’s now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he’s played. Payton Tennill<\/a> was another key player, putting up five points and seven assists.<\/p>\n

While Hendrickson didn’t have the best season last year (they finished 10-23), it’s starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 70-59 win over Brazoswood on Friday.<\/p>\n

Calallen’s defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hendrickson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.<\/p>\n
