Morris<\/a> and Plano<\/a> are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2019, but likely not for long. Morris is taking a road trip to square off against Plano at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Morris’ offense has struggled lately (the team hasn’t scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.<\/p>\n

Having struggled with 12 losses in a row, Morris turned things around against Streator\/Woodland on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Morris’ first draw of the season.<\/p>\n

Their goal came courtesy of Grant Sparrow<\/a>, who’s now up to four this season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Plano was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peotone. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Plano couldn’t quite close it out.<\/p>\n

Plano’s defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. With that draw, Morris’ record moves to 1-19-1.<\/p>\n

Morris couldn’t quite get it done against Plano when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as they fell 4-2. Can Morris avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll find out soon enough.<\/p>\n
