But that doesn\u2019t make losing your favorite neighborhood haunt sting any less. Before the mirror ball drops, we\u2019re looking back on all of Alamo City\u2019s upscale hot spots, neighborhood breweries, and dive bars that shuttered in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Amp Room<br \/>After a decade of rocking the St. Mary\u2019s Strip, this watering hole announced its <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/amp-room-closing-st-marys\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">last call<\/a> in October. The bar was one of San Antonio\u2019s few live music venues that booked local acts.<\/p>\n<p>Bandit BBQ &amp; Burgers<br \/>In March, this burger joint surprised San Antonio by reopening after a three-year break. Just as suddenly, the restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/bandit-burgers-bbq-closure\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">threw in the towel<\/a>, closing in October after only a seven-month revival.<\/p>\n<p>Barrio Dogg<br \/>Less than a year after opening its sole San Antonio outpost, the California-based hot dog restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/barrio-dogg-closes-southtown-location\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">announced its closure<\/a> in February. The Southtown building is now the home of <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/julians-pizza-more-opening-southtown\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Julian\u2019s Pizza &amp; More<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bunz Handcrafted Burgers<br \/>The gourmet San Antonio burger joint <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/bunz-burgers-closes-2nd-location\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">closed its location<\/a> at N Loop 1604 in May. The shutter comes just two years after the San Antonio burger restaurant expanded beyond its downtown flagship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"e01b6\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"b21442c6020b19b87edb0cc64f2fc9c3\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/bunz-handcrafted-burgers.jpg\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1080\" alt=\"Bunz Handcrafted Burgers\"\/>                        Bunz Handcrafted Burgers closed its second location in May.Bunz Handcrafted Burgers\/ Facebook<\/p>\n<p>Carriqui<br \/>After three years in San Antonio, this South Texas-inspired restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/carriqui-pearl-closing-october-2025\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">left Pearl\u2019s nest<\/a> in October. The district&#8217;s developer, Silver Ventures, has yet to announce what will become of its meticulously renovated former home.<\/p>\n<p>Cascabel Mexican Patio<br \/>One of San Antonio&#8217;s best-kept dining secrets <a href=\"http:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/cascabel-mexican-patio-surprisingly-closes\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">whispered a goodbye<\/a> in July after 23 years. The restaurant, known for its vibrant interior and traditional interior Mexican fare, announced its immediate closure via a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CascabelMexicanPatio\/videos\/1045591304412946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">video<\/a> mournfully scored by Ozzy Osbourne&#8217;s &#8220;Mama, I&#8217;m Coming Home.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Chela\u2019s Tacos<br \/>It was a wrap for the beloved decade-old San Antonio taqueria in October. The restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/chelas-tacos-closes-broadway-restaurant\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">quietly closed<\/a> its Broadway restaurant with only a handwritten note taped to the door.<\/p>\n<p>Chilaquil<br \/>It\u2019s unclear just when this Pearl food hall staple closed its doors, but Jason Dady will soon use its former space for a revived version of the shuttered favorite <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/dady-revives-umai-mi-pearl\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Umai Mi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Comfort Cafe Los Patios<br \/>The favorite San Antonio brunch spot <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/comfort-cafe-closing-los-patios\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">closed its flagship location<\/a> in the Los Patios development in July. Since then, the owners have debuted a new bakery and coffee shop called <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/sweet-serenity-opening-comfort-cafe\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sweet Serenity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"76b14\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"dd869b95ba6d941a514767abf6ab31d7\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/comfort-cafe-san-antonio.jpg\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1536\" alt=\"Comfort Cafe San Antonio\"\/>        Comfort Caf\u00e9 traded in its Los Patios location for a new coffee shop and bakery.            Comfort Caf\u00e9\/ Facebook        <\/p>\n<p>Cypress Cafe<br \/>After a last-minute Hail Mary gave it new life, the adored San Antonio Korean restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/cypress-cafe-closes-food-hall\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shuttered<\/a> for a second time.<\/p>\n<p>Dashi Sichuan Kitchen<br \/>After four years serving San Antonio\u2019s Northeast Side diners, this Chinese standout <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/dashi-sichuan-kitchen-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">unexpectedly called it a day<\/a> in early November. But ever-busy owner Kristina Zhao isn\u2019t taking a rest. After saying goodbye to Dashi, she said hello to a new nonprofit, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ciaozen.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Ciao &amp; Zen Collective<\/a>, located in the former home of The Good Kind.<\/p>\n<p>Dry Dock Oyster Bar<br \/>One of San Antonio&#8217;s most well-recognized restaurants <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/dry-dock-oyster-bar-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">left the harbor <\/a>after 43 years. Geu Kim, the longstanding owner of the iconic boat-shaped building, sold the business to an Odessa restaurateur in order to retire in May. The spot is now a new concept, Crab City.<\/p>\n<p>Freetail Brewing<br \/>The popular Alamo City brewery scaled back operations in late October amid continued market struggles for San Antonio&#8217;s craft beer scene \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/freetail-brewing-closes-southtown-taproom\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">quietly closing<\/a> its nine-year-old Southtown taproom and whittling down its local footprint to one brewpub.<\/p>\n<p>La Fruter\u00eda<br \/>Johnny Hernandez <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/food-news-fruteria-southtown-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">retired the original location<\/a> of this fruity Southtown shop in January, <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/johnny-hernandez-restaurant-food-hall\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shifting gears<\/a> to open a combined Burgerteca and Blue Moon Mexican Restaurant. The concept will reappear in 2026 at Southtown Food Hall in a former warehouse space.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"1656f\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"140286a2773466eb7cbd8f79e0e95dce\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/garaje-cantina.jpg\" width=\"1333\" height=\"1000\" alt=\"Garaje Cantina\"\/>                        Garaje Cantina slammed the brakes in May.Garaje Cantina\/ Facebook<\/p>\n<p>Garaje Cantina<br \/>The breezy Make Ready Market bar slammed the brakes after less than two years in business. In May, the small operation <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/garaje-cantina-closes-make-ready\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">announced its closure<\/a> with a simple graphic that read, &#8220;\u00a1Hasta luego!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>General Public and Bowl &amp; Barrel<br \/>The Dallas company behind these decade-old Rim concepts <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/bowl-barrel-general-public-closed\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">unceremoniously closed<\/a> both locations with identical statements. Neither the bowling alley nor the public house extended its lease past August.<\/p>\n<p>The Good Kind<br \/>After three years at Pearl and six in Southtown, the health-conscious snack bar is <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/good-kind-closure-king-william\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">gone for good<\/a>. Chef and owner Tim &#8220;The Girl&#8221; McDiarmid permanently closed the trend-setting San Antonio restaurant in October, while the Ivy Hall event and catering businesses live on under new ownership.<\/p>\n<p>Good Time Charlie\u2019s<br \/>The <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/good-time-charlies-closed-doseum\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">party is over<\/a> for the iconic Broadway restaurant. In October, founder Millard Stetler sold the property to the Doseum after 46 years of live music, crispy onion rings, and chicken-fried steak.<\/p>\n<p>The Hayden Alon Market<br \/>Two years after expanding to the Alon Market shopping center, the Jewish-inspired San Antonio diner <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/hayden-closes-second-location\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">called it a day<\/a> on its sluggish second location in May. The original outpost on Broadway remains a popular spot, and the space has since been converted into Andrew Weissman\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/andrew-weissman-maxs-sister-opening\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Max\u2019s Sister<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"24cd8\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"3ec140ab819ef23b42f5c7ef9dbcbe0f\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/the-hayden-alon-market-san-antonio.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" alt=\"The Hayden Alon Market San Antonio\"\/>        The Hayden was replaced by Max&#8217;s Sister.            The Hayden\/ Facebook        <\/p>\n<p>Jardin<br \/>Chef Jason Dady <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/jardin-restaurant-closes-botanical-garden\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">parted ways<\/a> with the San Antonio Botanical Garden in May in order to focus on projects like <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/mexico-ceaty-opens-rivercenter-mall\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mexico Ceaty<\/a> in downtown\u2019s Shops at River Center.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00fcnstler Tap Haus<br \/>Downtown\u2019s ongoing construction woes forced this Hemisfair bar to <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/kunstler-tap-haus-closing-hemisfair\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">tap out<\/a> in mid-October. The original Southtown location still remains a hot spot.<\/p>\n<p>Lin\u2019s International Buffet<br \/>Eight years of dishing out eye-popping volumes of sushi, pho, and Mongolian barbecue <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/lins-international-buffet-closing-1604\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">came to an end<\/a> when the popular pan-Asian eatery shuttered in August.<\/p>\n<p>Luz Roja<br \/>The downtown San Antonio Tex-Mex spot in the former Blanco Cafe space <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/luz-roja-downtown-closes\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">went dark<\/a> in October as owner Devin Elder faced mounting legal troubles. The developer was in the restaurant business for less than a year.<\/p>\n<p>El Ma\u00f1a Mexican Restaurant<br \/>After 8 years serving the Southwest Side, the long-running neighborhood restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/el-mana-closes-southwest-side\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">bowed out<\/a> of San Antonio\u2019s dining scene in mid-July.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"bb881\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"ec10580560d6af43757c70e1a52e0746\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/mash-d.jpg\" width=\"1333\" height=\"1000\" alt=\"Mash'd\"\/>        Mash&#8217;d closed its San Antonio restaurant after a decade.            Mash&#8217;d\/ Facebook        <\/p>\n<p>Mash\u2019d<br \/>The restaurant known for moonshine, buzzy brunches, and inventive pub grub was another <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/mashd-closing-rim-restaurant\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rim casualty<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n<p>Nama Ramen &amp; Sushiya<br \/>The restaurant that helped kick off San Antonio&#8217;s mid-2010s ramen obsession <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/nama-ramen-sushiya-closing-northwest\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">unexpectedly announced<\/a> its shutter at the end of September. Its building is now the home of <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/tenten-udon-tempura-opens-northwest\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tenten Udon &amp; Tempura<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Neon Moon Bakery<br \/>At the start of November, this charming bakery and coffee shop at San Antonio\u2019s quaint Bracken Village shopping center <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/neon-moon-bakery-closing-bracken\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">fired down the oven<\/a>s after a brief seven-month run. Owner Megan Harlow said the closure was the best move for her family.<\/p>\n<p>Ocho<br \/>After 15 years on the River Walk, the chic restaurant at downtown&#8217;s Hotel Havana <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/ocho-hotel-havana-closes-riverwalk\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shuttered<\/a> after a final brunch service in late June. By September, the hotel was <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/travel\/hotel-havana-closing-river-walk\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">gone<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n<p>Oscar\u2019s Taco House<br \/>San Antonio <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/oscars-taco-house-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">lost a piece of its culinary history<\/a> in June when this Tex-Mex legend shuttered after a remarkable 63 years in business. Nearby bridge construction at South Zarzamora Street and Frio City Road displaced the long-running South Side business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"3a3be\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"154a2edd50b99129d615bfedefe0b5ec\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/francis-bogside-san-antonio.jpg\" width=\"5952\" height=\"3813\" alt=\"Francis Bogside San Antonio\"\/>        Blessed Bogside and its sibling concepts  all shuttered in September.            Photo by TXTroublemaker        <\/p>\n<p>Outpost Junction<br \/>St. Paul Square&#8217;s quest to become a thriving entertainment district <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/outpost-junction-francis-bogside-closings\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">hit a major setback<\/a> in September as four bars simultaneously shuttered. Blessed Bogside, The Box, Frankie&#8217;s Roundup, and Vino Veritas unexpectedly ended service with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPKZNH0iejO\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">one last social media post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Palomar Comida y Cantina<br \/>The San Antonio Tex-Mex upstart <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/palomar-closes-mezcal-comida-opens\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shuttered <\/a>in September, but locals may need to do some investigative work to figure out the rest of the plotline. Signage for a new concept called Mezcal Comida Cantina has appeared on the 12656 West Ave building, but whether it&#8217;s a rebrand or an entirely new restaurant is still unclear.<\/p>\n<p>Peggy\u2019s on the Green<br \/>Boerne&#8217;s beloved Southern Restaurant dished out its last order of country-fried quail in early November. The upscale Southern restaurant from lauded San Antonio chef Mark Bohanan <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/peggys-on-the-green-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shuttered<\/a> as the historic Kendall Inn brings its food service in-house.<\/p>\n<p>Pinch Boil House<br \/>One of the restaurants that put San Antonio on the national culinary map unexpectedly <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/pinch-boil-house-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said goodbye<\/a> in April. Owners Andrew Ho and Sean Wen are doing just fine. Their first <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/curry-boys-asian-smoke-cookbook\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Curry Boys BBQ cookbook<\/a> will be released in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Potbelli BBQ<br \/>A mere four months after opening, owner and pitmaster Terrence Russell shut<a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/potbelli-bbq-closing-east-side\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> down<\/a> this East Side barbecue joint in November to focus on catering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"e86a9\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"dab6d5d26a8fc2d81a4fa6107dc3bb90\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/rebelle-san-antonio.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" alt=\"Rebelle San Antonio\"\/>        Rebelle&#8217;s former home will soon become Esencia.            Rebelle  Facebook        <\/p>\n<p>Rebelle and Haunt Lounge<br \/>After a prolonged legal battle and the abrupt sacking of its chef, Stefan Bowers, the St. Anthony Hotel\u2019s bar and restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/rebelle-haunt-st-anthony-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">closed in January<\/a>. Meanwhile, Haunt has since been replaced with <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/st-anthony-hotel-bar-coffee\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Anacacho Coffee &amp; Cantina,<\/a> and the Rebelle will soon be home to <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/esencia-opening-st-anthony-hotel\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Esencia<\/a> \u2014 both under former Stix &amp; Stone chef Leo Davila.<\/p>\n<p>Revolutionary Wings<br \/>This fast casual joint was only open for about two years before owner Joshua Paprocki <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/revolutionary-wings-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">waved the white flag<\/a> in March. San Antonians have been bemoaning the loss of the restaurant\u2019s signature Flamin&#8217; Hot Cheeto wings since.<\/p>\n<p>SoHill Cafe<br \/>Chef Jean-Francois Poujol\u2019s popular pizza restaurant will <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/sohill-cafe-closes-new-concept\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">make way<\/a> for a new concept from the owners of Beacon Hill Market &amp; Deli.<\/p>\n<p>Stix and Stone<br \/>One of San Antonio&#8217;s top restaurants <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/stixs-and-stone-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">closed<\/a> in March, but chef Leo Davila didn\u2019t give up his signature Big Red and barbacoa tacos. In a social media statement, the restaurant said &#8220;unforeseen circumstances&#8221; led to the decision but declined to give further details. <\/p>\n<p>Tiago\u2019s Cabo Grille<br \/>After an 18-year run, the popular coastal Mexican restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/tiagos-closes-salsitas-opening-rim\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">suddenly shuttered<\/a> in July. The eatery was known for its woodfire cooking and tropical fare such as pescado zarandeado and cilantro-lime chicken.<\/p>\n<p>The Winchester<br \/>The Alamo Heights bar <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/restaurant-news-winchester-pub-closing\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ran out of ammunition<\/a> after eight years in Alamo Heights.
