Dallas is getting a new Americas headquarters from a global company. <\/p>\n

Bosch Home Comfort<\/a> \u2014 which specializes in heating and cooling help \u2014 is putting a new regional hub in North Texas, according to a statement from David Budzinski, deputy CEO and president Americas of the group.<\/p>\n

The company \u201cis positioned for significant growth over the next several years,\u201d Budzinski said in the emailed statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs part of our long-term strategy to grow our presence in the U.S. and continue driving innovation in the HVAC industry, we are moving forward with plans to establish a new Americas headquarters in Dallas,\u201d Budzinski said. \u201cDallas is a tremendous market for talent, and this site will help fuel our advancement.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company already has a training facility in Irving, which will continue to operate as usual. <\/p>\n

The Dallas region continues to attract investments from companies around the country and the world, drawn by its expanding workforce, central U.S. location, economic environment and other factors. For example, Ariat International, a California boot company, is investing over $70 million<\/a> in its regional headquarters in Fort Worth, while Google<\/a> plans to spend nearly $1 billion<\/a> to add to its existing data center campus in Midlothian.<\/p>\n

The new Dallas project for Bosch is located at 2828 Routh St., Suite 400, according to a filing with the state of Texas. It\u2019s set to cover about 17,000 square feet, the document said.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Bosch officially acquired Johnson Controls\u2019 Residential and Light Commercial HVAC business, including the Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning joint venture, Budzinski said. Now, the integrated businesses operate under Bosch Home Comfort Group with over 25,000 associates worldwide. <\/p>\n

The Americas region includes North and South America.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the acquisition, our global business has doubled, along with our employee headcount,\u201d Budzinski said. \u201cWhile Dallas will serve as headquarters, we will maintain our North America locations as there is value having a balanced location strategy that maximizes talent and presence throughout the region.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bosch Home Comfort\u2019s offerings include hot water systems, heat pumps and controls, among other products.<\/p>\n

Globally, Bosch has major business units that include mobility, industrial technology and consumer goods along with energy and building tech. <\/p>\n
