About the project<\/p>\n
The restaurant will feature a full-service dining room, expanded menu and cocktail program, differing from Home Slice\u2019s Midtown location, according to a Dec. 9 news release from the company.<\/p>\n
The release stated that the 6,000 square foot space is being designed in collaboration with Michael Hsu Office of Architecture and will be located near White Oak Drive.<\/p>\n

Originally founded in Austin by Jen and Joseph Strickland and Terri Hannifin in 2005, the local mom-and-pop pizzeria became known for its authentic New York-style slices as well as its pasta, sandwiches and fresh desserts.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe always look for vibrant, walkable neighborhoods with rich histories, where people gather,\u201d said owner Joseph Strickland. \u201cNow that we have been operating a counter service and takeout place in Midtown for a few years, the time felt right to create a space where we could show Houston all of what we offer to our Austin crowd.\u201d<\/p>\n
The release stated the new location is expected to open in the fall of 2026.<\/p>\n
