{"id":84665,"date":"2025-12-11T23:20:15","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T23:20:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/84665\/"},"modified":"2025-12-11T23:20:15","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T23:20:15","slug":"the-grove-frisco-to-add-retail-restaurants-at-custer-road-and-main-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/84665\/","title":{"rendered":"The Grove Frisco to add retail, restaurants at Custer Road and Main Street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrisco\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.friscotexas.gov\/714\/Planning-Zoning-Commission\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Planning and Zoning Commission<\/a> approved plans for 7.5 acres of new retail space on the southwest corner of Custer Road and Main Street at a Dec. 9 meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The development is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegrovefrisco.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Grove Frisco<\/a>, a 735-acre community along Main Street that incorporates single-family homes, luxury apartments, green space and businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Zooming in<\/p>\n<p>Commissioners approved <a href=\"https:\/\/agenda.friscotexas.gov\/OnBaseAgendaOnline\/Documents\/DownloadFileBytes\/%20-%2072128%20-%20%20-%20%20-%20OS25-0081%20PZ%20EXHIBIT.PDF%20-%20Open%20Space%20Plan%20_%20Prelim.pdf?documentType=1&amp;meetingId=5439&amp;itemId=72128&amp;publishId=51714&amp;isSection=False&amp;isAttachment=True\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">plans<\/a> for five buildings, each with a retail and restaurant component.
