RICHLAND HILLS, Texas \u2014 Richland Hills has appointed Jason Moore as its next city manager, Mayor Curtis Bergthold and the City Council announced this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Moore’s first day on the job will be Feb. 15, 2026.<\/p>\n
The appointment follows the resignation of current City Manager Candice Edmondson, who has accepted the same position with the City of Aledo.<\/p>\n
Moore is returning to Richland Hills for a second time. He previously spent nearly four years as the city\u2019s assistant city manager before resigning in 2018. During that period, he oversaw multiple departments, managed major capital improvement projects, and played a central role in developing The LINK Event and Recreation Center.<\/p>\n
Since 2021, Moore has served as executive director of the Mansfield Economic Development Corporation, leading strategic planning, major development projects and marketing initiatives.<\/p>\n
Mayor Bergthold praised the hire as a strategic step for the city’s future.<\/p>\n

Moore said he is eager to return to the city.<\/p>\n
