{"id":86528,"date":"2025-12-13T05:57:27","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T05:57:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/86528\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T05:57:27","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T05:57:27","slug":"the-rock-at-la-cantera-to-host-wembys-wonderland-holiday-celebration-this-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/86528\/","title":{"rendered":"The Rock at La Cantera to host \u2018Wemby\u2019s Wonderland\u2019 holiday celebration this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">SAN ANTONIO \u2013 The Rock at La Cantera will host \u201cWemby\u2019s Wonderland,\u201d a weekend-long holiday celebration organized in partnership with San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Frost Plaza, located at 1 Spurs Way, near The Shops at La Cantera.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Free tickets are required for entry on both days and can be claimed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universe.com\/events\/wembys-wonderland-tickets-T6SGVN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.universe.com\/events\/wembys-wonderland-tickets-T6SGVN\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cWemby\u2019s Wonderland\u201d features a 12-foot sledding hill, holiday crafting stations and appearances from the Spurs\u2019 Coyote and Santa Claus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Santa will be available for photos from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and Coyote can be found from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The Spurs will host an official watch party at \u201cWemby\u2019s Wonderland\u201d for Saturday\u2019s NBA Cup semifinals game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game, taking place in Las Vegas, tips off at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">At around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, Wembanyama\u2019s favorite Christmas movie will be revealed and screened for attendees. There is no indication that Wembanyama will be present for the screening or any other wonderland events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cWemby\u2019s Wonderland\u201d will also host a toy drive in collaboration with Boysville, a nonprofit children\u2019s home and shelter.
