{"id":87155,"date":"2025-12-13T23:56:30","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T23:56:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/87155\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T23:56:30","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T23:56:30","slug":"amazon-expands-same-day-grocery-delivery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/87155\/","title":{"rendered":"Amazon expands same-day grocery delivery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">(CNN) &#8211; Good news if you hate going to the grocery store.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Amazon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aboutamazon.com\/news\/retail\/amazon-same-day-fresh-grocery-delivery-united-states\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.aboutamazon.com\/news\/retail\/amazon-same-day-fresh-grocery-delivery-united-states\">has announced an expansion <\/a>of its same-day grocery delivery service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Amazon launched the service back in August to its Prime members in about 1,000 cities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">That will now expand to more than 2,300 cities and towns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The new locations will include Omaha, Nebraska, Sugar Land, Texas, and Kennesaw, Georgia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The online retailer also notes its grocery selection for same-day delivery has grown over the past few months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Prime members don\u2019t have to pay a delivery fee on orders of $25 or more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">There is a small fee on orders that do not meet the minimum.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Those without a Prime membership pay a nearly $13 fee per order.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Amazon says it plans on even more cities getting same-day grocery delivery next year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">You can check to see if the service <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/fmc\/learn-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/fmc\/learn-more\">is offered in your city by going to Amazon\u2019s website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 CNN Newsource.
