{"id":87403,"date":"2025-12-14T05:54:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-14T05:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/87403\/"},"modified":"2025-12-14T05:54:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T05:54:07","slug":"mary-ann-saenz-claims-robstown-mayoral-seat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/87403\/","title":{"rendered":"Mary Ann Saenz Claims Robstown Mayoral Seat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The runoff election results for the City of Robstown are in and show us residents have elected a new mayor.<\/p>\n<p>Mary Ann Saenz took the lead Saturday night, defeating David &#8220;Petey&#8221; Martinez by just 13 votes.<\/p>\n<p>Our Lidia Herrera spoke with Saenz just after the results came in.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My dream is big for this little town,&#8221; she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All I ask people is to be able to make a judgement on what you see and to be able to make a decision on what you know, and today, it was a tight one but I ended up victorious.
