Opening Night Tribute&#8221; on Friday, Oct. 24, honoring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2025\/08\/01\/san-antonio-tejano-musician-flaco-jimenez-dies-at-86-family-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2025\/08\/01\/san-antonio-tejano-musician-flaco-jimenez-dies-at-86-family-says\/\">Flaco Jimenez<\/a>, a Conjunto legend who died this summer at 86 years old.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">That same evening, Santiago Jimenez, renowned Conjunto accordionist and brother to Flaco Jimenez, will be among the performers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Festival hours are:<\/p>\n<p>Friday, Oct. 24: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>Saturday, Oct. 25: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>Sunday, Oct. 26: Noon to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Under a newly signed 10-year agreement, Muertos Fest will continue to call Hemisfair home through 2034.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">To see the festival dates announced for the next 10 years, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2025\/07\/01\/muertos-fest-to-remain-at-hemisfair-announces-dates-through-next-10-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2025\/07\/01\/muertos-fest-to-remain-at-hemisfair-announces-dates-through-next-10-years\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Map<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The celebration transforms Hemisfair to honor the traditions of D\u00eda de los Muertos with art, music and more than 80 altars created by community members.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Muertos Fest will feature five stages and two processions, scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26. Visitors are encouraged to use VIA transit, bike or walk to the festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">VIA Park &amp; Ride<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">On Saturday, Oct. 25, buses will depart from Crossroads Park &amp; Ride, Brooks Transit Center and Frost Bank Center Lots 6 and 7, providing service to the Alamodome. On Sunday, Oct. 26, departures will be from Crossroads Park &amp; Ride and Brooks Transit Center, also heading to the Alamodome. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Signage at the Alamodome will guide patrons to Muertos Fest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">VIA Park &amp; Ride service will run from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday, with return trips available for one hour after the festival concludes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Parking<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">Some nearby parking lots and garages in the downtown area from the City of San Antonio <a href=\"https:\/\/gis.sanantonio.gov\/CCDO\/DowntownParking\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">website<\/a>, include:<\/p>\n<p>City Tower Garage: Located at 60 North Flores Street.
