Police confirm that their Special Traffic Investigations Unit is on the scene looking into the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police did not say what time the crash happened, but sent out an alert to media at about 3:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police provided no other details. STI, however, only responds to the most serious crashes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Texas Department of Transportation said that Mesa is closed in both directions because of the crash.
