It\u2019s just kind of extra sentimental for me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">21-year-old Alauna Carstens of Olympia, Washington, won the women\u2019s marathon in 2 hours and 53 minutes.<\/p>\n<p> Half Marathon Winners <\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">31-year-old Dallas resident Sergio Mena broke through for a long-sought victory, winning the men\u2019s half-marathon in 1 hour and 6 minutes.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/photo-9768.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/> <\/p>\n<p data-v-0dea8073=\"\">Phil Salmeron (@philsalmeronphoto on Instagram) <\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">&#8220;I\u2019ve been trying to win this race for the past four years,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I love Dallas. This is just a dream come true,&#8221; said Me<\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">30-year-old Olympian, Dakotah Popehn of Michigan, set a women\u2019s course record with a 1 hour and 12 minute finish.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/photo-9867.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/> <\/p>\n<p data-v-0dea8073=\"\">Phil Salmeron (@philsalmeronphoto on Instagram) <\/p>\n<p>  50K Ultra Marathon Winners <\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">35-year-old Dallas athlete, Jean Otero, won the men\u2019s 50K in 3 hours and 12 minutes, his debut ultra.<\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">Addison Walling won the women\u2019s 50K in 3 hours and 56 minutes.<\/p>\n<p> 10K and 5K Winners <\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">In Saturday\u2019s 10K, 36-year-old Hassan Eissa of Euless, took the men\u2019s title, while 23-year-old Jasmin Muhammad-Graham of Fort Worth, won the women\u2019s race.<\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">The 5K winners were 15-year-old Marc Genis of Colleyville for the men, and 17-year-old Maya Shariff of Plano for the women.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/sbp_0826_1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/>  Friday Night Lights Mile Winners <\/p>\n<p data-v-3646484b=\"\">Nearly 1,000 runners packed Dallas City Hall Plaza for Friday night\u2019s one-mile event.
