The Mustangs had 11 wrestlers place overall, with Allen standing as the program\u2019s lone champion. Marmion Academy crowned two champions, with Brody Page winning at 120 pounds and Logan Conover taking first at 138. Kaneland\u2019s top finishers were Jack Gruber and Josh Karther, who each placed fourth in their respective weight classes. Plano\u2019s top finishers included Shane Downs, who placed fourth at 132 pounds, and Sam Mussa, who finished sixth at 113. As a team, the Mustangs placed third and the Indians placed fifth, earning two spots in the top five.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"1295\">At the Glenbard East Mega Duals, Oswego fell 70-3 to Glenbard West before rebounding with a 59-17 win over host Glenbard East and a 43-27 victory over Leyden. Holden Reible recorded the Panthers\u2019 lone win against Glenbard West. Against Glenbard East, Reible, Nolan O\u2019Grady, Aiden Ortiz, Langston Norlin, Tyler Becker, Jaxson Murray and Elijah Porter all recorded pins in their respective weight classes. Reible and Shane Dodson each added pins in Oswego\u2019s win over Leyden.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1617\">At the Minooka Kenny Zebel Duals, Yorkville went a perfect 3-0 with wins over Edwardsville, 46-24, Bishop McNamara, 69-6, and Lockport, 56-15. Nolan Chrisse, Donncha Souza, Julius Cole, Donovan Rosauer, Maximus Delgado, Joshua Stockl, Caleb Viscogliosi and Xavion Ulloa each recorded three wins on the day for the Foxes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2148\" data-end=\"2364\">Boys\u2019 Basketball<br data-start=\"2169\" data-end=\"2172\"\/>At the Team Rose Shootout at Chicago Mount Carmel, Yorkville Christian earned an 80-70 win over Lemont. Jayden Riley led the Mustangs with 36 points, while Tray Alford added 20 in the victory.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2366\" data-end=\"2513\">Also at the Team Rose Shootout, Oswego East lost 62-37 to Curie. Mason Lockett led the Wolves with 10 points, followed by Dshaun Bolden with eight.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2515\" data-end=\"2705\">Oswego secured a 56-54 home win over Waubonsie Valley. Ethan Vahl led the Panthers with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Cole Jansons scored nine points and Brayden Borrowman added seven.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1945\">Girls\u2019 Basketball<br data-start=\"1641\" data-end=\"1644\"\/>At the Pearl City Tournament, Indian Creek dropped a 64-41 decision to the host Wolves before bouncing back with a 45-37 win over Lena-Winslow. In the loss to Pearl City, Ally Keilman scored 14 points. In the win over Lena-Winslow, Keilman and Elsie Betz shared team-high honors with 11 points apiece.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1947\" data-end=\"2012\">At the Polo Holiday Tournament, Earlville fell 60-24 to Eastland.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2014\" data-end=\"2087\">In Kishwaukee River Conference action, Johnsburg defeated Sandwich 61-28.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2146\">Serena picked up a 39-36 nonconference win over St. Bede.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2146\">Boys\u2019 Bowling<br data-start=\"3941\" data-end=\"3944\"\/>At the fourth annual Kennely Foundation Tournament hosted by Oswego East, Yorkville\u2019s Noel Lopez tied for second place, while Alex Wilson finished fourth.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2707\" data-end=\"2941\">LOCAL ATHLETICS<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2707\" data-end=\"2941\">Oswego Hockey Club<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2943\" data-end=\"3158\">The junior varsity team lost 6-2 to the Kankakee Irish Hockey Club on Friday night. Jimmy Judd and Jake Reppy each scored a goal for OHC, while Carson MacLennan recorded two assists.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3160\" data-end=\"3503\">On Saturday, the JV team responded with a 7-4 win over the Saints Hockey Club. Judd, Nathan Gibertini, Logan Oster and Isaac Allen each scored one goal, while Brendan Wolford recorded a hat trick, his second of the season. Judd, Gibertini and Brady Lindner each tallied one assist, Oster recorded two assists, and MacLennan added five assists.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3505\" data-end=\"3631\">Also on Saturday, the varsity team lost 5-1 to the Naperville Hockey Club, with Duncan Kubek scoring the lone unassisted goal.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3633\" data-end=\"3921\">On Sunday, the JV team dropped an 8-2 decision to Lyons Township. Gibertini and Allen scored the goals for OHC, with an assist from Chris Dembinski. The varsity team also lost to Lyons Township, falling 3-1. Jax Wellehan scored the lone goal for Oswego, assisted by Kubek and Aiden Quinn.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2148\" data-end=\"2364\">UPCOMING BROADCAST<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2707\" data-end=\"2941\">Yorkville will host Metea Valley on Tuesday, Dec. 16, in a nonconference varsity boys basketball matchup.
