Teter\u2019s Faucet Parts<\/a> at Oram Street and Gaston Avenue is moving to the other side of I-635.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new North Lake Highlands store at 11410 Plano Road is expected to open Monday, Nov. 3, according to signs on Teter\u2019s doors. The website and phone number will stay the same.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I stopped by Teter\u2019s to get some details about the move but was declined an interview.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teter\u2019s<\/a> has been in business since 1935, according to its website. The family-run store had a location on Abrams Road and then it moved to Oram Street in the 1990s. The property it now sits on, which was originally developed as a bowling alley in the 1940s, was reported to be worth as much as $6 million<\/a> less than a decade ago. A six-story mixed-use building was planned<\/a> for that space years ago but didn\u2019t come to fruition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a 2016 article, owner Jack Teter indicated that he would be open to moving: \u201cI don\u2019t really belong here,\u201d Teter said. \u201cThis should be retail.\u201d<\/p>\n
