The details<\/p>\n
At their Dec. 8 meeting<\/a>, Plano City Council members approved a $2.97 million contract for residential pavement repairs in east Plano.<\/p>\n The project will repair over 27,000 square yards of concrete streets and alleys, 20,000 square feet of sidewalks and 62 ramps, according to city documents<\/a>. Work will take place in the area bounded by Park Boulevard, Jupiter Road, 18th Street and Shiloh Road.<\/p>\n According to the city\u2019s 2025-26 community investment program<\/a> adopted earlier this year, construction is expected to begin in early 2026 and wrap up in fall 2028.<\/p>\n Residential pavement repairs are also scheduled to begin in January in the neighborhood directly adjacent to the new project, according to the city\u2019s CIP dashboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n One more thing<\/p>\n Plano officials also recently approved<\/a> a $3.31 million contract<\/a> for residential street repairs in southwest Plano off Ohio Drive and Park Boulevard.<\/p>\n “><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"East Plano residents can expect to see new construction starting soon.
