VIDEO SHOWS DEPUTIES CANVASING ROADS AND BUSINESSES AFTER THE ELDERLY COUPLE WAS REPORTED MISSING AFTER THANKSGIVING. HEY, JUST KIND OF CURIOUS TO SEE, YOU KNOW, THERE\u2019S BEEN AN ELDERLY COUPLE THAT\u2019S BEEN MISSING FOR A FEW DAYS AGO. TOLD ME LAST NIGHT. OKAY. YOU BET. WELL, WE WERE JUST WE WERE KIND OF DRIVING THE SERVICE ROAD OUT AND FIGURED WE FIXING TO TURN AROUND AND HEAD BACK TOWARDS TUCUMCARI. FIGURED WE\u2019D CHECK WITH YOU GUYS. According to investigators, Charles, 82, and Linda, 81, Lightfoot were reported missing on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, shortly after Thanksgiving festivities with family, when they hadn’t returned home to Lubbock, Texas.
