Holiday hams, chocolate-chip cookies, eggnog \u2013 all and more is above board this December. For those in the DFW area, there\u2019s no better place to delight in seasonal treats than Serious Eats. Throughout this <a href=\"https:\/\/secretdallas.com\/things-to-do-dallas-december\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretdallas.com\/things-to-do-dallas-december\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_0\" data-category=\"click_internal\">December<\/a>, the Grand Prairie establishment is hosting The Land of Sweets pop-up, where patrons can enjoy a Candyland-inspired environment of life-sized gingerbread houses, candies, and immersive photo-ops.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 2971 S State Hwy 161 in Grand Prairie, Serious Eats is a \u201cmicro food hall\u201d comprised of three Serious concepts \u2013 Serious Sliders, Serious Slices, and Serious Shakes. The vibrant venue is a family-friendly dining establishment known for its giant pizza slices, extreme milkshakes, and interactive vibe. The immersive, larger-than-life holiday experience features a whimsical environment of floating candies, gin gingerbread houses, nutcrackers, and all sorts of fantastic decor.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Land of Sweets pop-up will offer the chance for kiddos to take pictures with Santa (from 11 am \u2013 2 pm on December 21st), and pen their wishlists to the North Pole at its \u201cLetters to Santa\u201d station.<\/p>\n<p>Here, kids \u2013 and adults alike \u2013 can enjoy a range of holiday treats like O\u2019 Christmas Treat Milkshake, Frosty\u2019s Funnel Cake, and The Cookie Claus. Santa will be on-site on December 21 from 11 am to 2 pm.
