{"id":94127,"date":"2025-12-19T13:11:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T13:11:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/94127\/"},"modified":"2025-12-19T13:11:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T13:11:13","slug":"dallas-cowboys-still-worlds-most-valuable-sports-team-at-us13bn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/94127\/","title":{"rendered":"Dallas Cowboys still world\u2019s most valuable sports team at US$13bn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Football League\u2019s (NFL) Dallas Cowboys have once again been ranked by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/brettknight\/2025\/12\/18\/the-worlds-50-most-valuable-sports-teams-2025\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Forbes<\/a> as the world\u2019s most valuable sports team.<\/p>\n<p>Key details:<\/p>\n<p>Cowboys valued at US$13 billion, a year-over-year (YoY) increase of 29 per cent<br \/>\nNational Basketball Association\u2019s (NBA) Golden State Warriors second with valuation of US$11 billion<br \/>\nLos Angeles Rams (US$10.5 billion), New York Giants (US$10.1 billion) and Los Angeles Lakers (US$10 billion) complete top five<br \/>\nTop ten rounded out by New York Knicks (US$9.75 billion), New England Patriots (US$9 billion), San Francisco 49ers (US$8.6 billion), Philadelphia Eagles (US$8.3 billion), and Chicago Bears and New York Yankees (both tied at US$8.2 billion)<br \/>\nReal Madrid highest ranked soccer club in 20th\u00a0with valuation of US$6.75 billion<br \/>\nManchester United finish 24th\u00a0with valuation of US$6.6 billion, the highest of any Premier League club<br \/>\nFerrari highest-ranked Formula One team in 26th\u00a0place (US$6.5 billion)<\/p>\n<p>Context:<\/p>\n<p>Forbes\u2019 annual list highlights the rapid rise of franchise valuations in recent years. For instance, the Dallas Cowboys were valued by the publication at US$5 billion in 2019, but that figure would not even crack the top 50 this year. The franchise has held the number one spot in Forbes\u2019 ranking since 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The top 50 teams are collectively worth more than US$353 billion, equating to an average of US$7.1 billion each \u2013 up 22 per cent YoY and more than double the combined value from just four years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Eight teams in the top 50 posted YoY valuation increases of at least 30 per cent.
