Jason Corley can continue to serve as Lubbock County Commissioner for Precinct 2. That according to a ruling from a Judge on Friday.<\/p>\n
Judge Returns Corley to the Lubbock County Commissioners Court<\/p>\n
On Monday December 8, Lubbock County Judge Curtis Parrish stunned many when he announced that he had removed Commissioner Corley from the Commissioners Court after he believed that Corley had resigned his seat by announcing early that he was running for Congress.<\/p>\n
Parrish then installed Mark Meurer as the interim Commissioner for Precinct 2.<\/p>\n
The judge on Friday,\u00a0Visiting Senior Judge Patrick Pirtle ruled in favor of Corley over Parrish and Muerer.<\/p>\n
