Both the city of Gainesville and Gainesville Independent School District are getting ready for elections next spring.<\/p>\n
In May, the city council positions for wards 3, 5 and 6 are up for election, as well as the municipal judge. These positions are currently held by Randy Jones, Jeff Johnson, Mary Jo Dollar and Chris Cypert, respectively.<\/p>\n
