Midfielder Chioma Ubogagu scored to help Dallas Trinity FC<\/a> draw 1-1 with Lexington SC Saturday at the Cotton Bowl.<\/p>\n

The draw extends Dallas\u2019 unbeaten run to four games after a nearly two-month skid dropped them down the league table.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe knew it was going to be a challenge. We knew we had to compete. A draw is a good result. We obviously wanted a win but we\u2019ll take the draw and keep it moving for the next half of the season,\u201d Ubogagu said.<\/p>\n

Trinity fell behind in the 28th minute after Amber Nguyen put a ball into the box on a corner and defender Allison Pantuso pounced on the resulting loose ball to open the scoring.<\/p>\n

Ubogagu evened things for Dallas just after halftime. She hammered home a free kick from inside the D to put Trinity on level terms in the 52nd minute.<\/p>\n

Another key moment in the match came in the 69th minute when Trinity defender Hannah Davison fouled Emina Ekich in the box, conceding a penalty. Ekich stepped up to take the spot kick, but was denied by diving Dallas goalie Rylee Foster.<\/p>\n

All told, Lexington outshot Dallas 13-6, but only managed one more shot on target than the hosts (4-3) in a relatively evenly-matched contest.<\/p>\n

The point keeps Dallas in the fourth and final playoff spot on equal points (20) with Carolina Ascent FC in third. Trinity is only five points behind leaders Sporting JAX at the top and has one game in hand on every team placed ahead of them.<\/p>\n

Dallas now enters the six-week winter break for the Gainbridge Super League. The team returns to action when they host Brooklyn FC on Jan. 31, 2026.<\/p>\n
