The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed its helicopter was involved in the investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">DPS reports the suspected car was found, and the Lubbock County Sheriff\u2019s Office has taken over the investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities have not confirmed an actual kidnapping as of Sunday night, and it is not yet clear whether anyone was arrested or if any child was involved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 KCBD.
