{"id":97333,"date":"2025-12-22T17:27:04","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T17:27:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/97333\/"},"modified":"2025-12-22T17:27:04","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T17:27:04","slug":"apd-looking-for-suv-that-struck-injured-e-bike-rider-in-nw-austin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/97333\/","title":{"rendered":"APD looking for SUV that struck, injured e-bike rider in NW Austin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">AUSTIN, Texas &#8211; The Austin Police Department is looking for a driver that struck and injured an e-bike rider in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox7austin.com\/tag\/us\/tx\/travis-county\/austin\/northwest-austin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Northwest Austin<\/a> in November.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KTBC\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">APD says the crash happened just after 6 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the intersection of Mesa Drive and Rockford Lane, just north of Anderson High School.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">The victim was riding an electric bike on Mesa Drive, when a white Volkswagen SUV turned onto Rockford Lane, striking them.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">The suspect vehicle then left the scene without stopping or rendering aid and the rider suffered bodily injury, said APD.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">The driver of the SUV is described as a white man between 40 and 50 years old, between 160-170 lbs and 5&#8217;8&#8243; to 5&#8217;10&#8221; with a medium build.
