everyone\u2019s favorite birthday treat: cake. <\/p>\n<p>2025 Artist-in-Residence Liza Fishbone has a knack for creating alternate realities by combining a love of large-scale painting and 3D fabrication into fantastical immersive landscapes, which is exactly what she did for the DoSeum\u2019s Birthday Cake Mountain installation.<\/p>\n<p>For this installation, which runs through Jan. 4, Fishbone transforms the festive, symbolic significance of birthday cake into a layered adventure \u2014 a stroll through a magical forest with hands-on activities that challenge young minds to
